Our academic from the Data Science area, Sebastián Ríos, was informed a few days ago through a letter sent by the dean of the Faculty of Physical Sciences and Mathematics (FCFM), Francisco Martínez. Ríos was selected by a Committee of Experts of the Faculty, from among different nominations of researchers from various Academic Units of the University of Chile, and his awarded project is “DIP-R: Data-driven innovation in patient risk management”, implemented at the Exequiel González Cortés hospital.
The award ceremony for this recognition will be held on Friday, November 27, in the context of the First FCFM Innovation Week, in which the projects of the undergraduate students, postgraduate students and Full Academics will also be awarded. / Associates.
This award was created in memory of Professor Felipe Álvarez Daziano, who served as Vice Dean of the FCFM between 2010 and 2017. Congratulations, Sebastian!
